Pave the Path Forward: Brick by Brick, We Can Restore Camp Cavell Together

For nearly a century, Camp Cavell has been a place where children discover courage, connection, and joy—where friendships spark around campfires, confidence grows on forest trails, and the simple magic of nature becomes a lifelong memory.

This year, that legacy has been put to the test. Storms, aging buildings, and financial strain have stretched our resources thin. Trails need repair. Cabins need restoration. Families need help to afford camp. And yet—even in the midst of challenge—the heartbeat of Camp Cavell has never been stronger.

Because the story of Camp Cavell has always been a story of renewal.

Every generation has stepped forward when the camp needed them most.Through every storm, setback, and season of uncertainty, extraordinary people stepped forward for Camp Cavell—volunteers, donors, partners, friends, and everyday heroes who refused to let this place fade away. You showed up when the winds were strongest. You lifted us when our foundations shook. You gave your time, your hands, your resources, and your hearts.

Because of you, we did more than survive.
We rebuilt. We restored. We rose.

Your unwavering support carried us through the 2013 sale crisis, the transition from YWCA ownership, the shutdowns of COVID, and the devastating storms of 2019 and 2023. Every repaired cabin, every child welcomed back, every trail brought back to life is a testament to your commitment.

You are the reason Camp Cavell stands today—stronger, more resilient, and filled with hope for the next hundred years.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this place and in its future.
